Once upon a time, Spalding was known worldwide for its annual flower parade but sadly, due to lack of funding and support, it ceased to exist almost ten years ago Well, the good news is, it's coming back and showing that Spalding still has community spirit. The 2024 Flower Parade is organised and run purely with volunteers from the local community. The 2024 parade will have a whole new, fresh look but there will be some elements of nostalgia incorporated. There will be all sorts and sizes of colourful floats and decorated trailers, vintage vehicles, tractors, lorries, classic cars, marching bands, dancers, craft fair, charity stalls and trade stands.
